 The first day of winter did not disappoint! A beautiful, crisp, clear day at Elephant Lake!

 Another crisp morning at -17C but there is no wind so it is a beautiful day for a walk!

  Peter Healy Ice Report for December 14, 2024: 12 holes drilled 100m apart. Minimum thickness 4.5 inches, maximum 6  inches, average 4.5 inches. Safe for walking but need 6 minimum for snowmobile or ATV.

 Welcome to the new Elephant Lake blog. Ed and I will try to keep everyone updated on road, weather and items of interest to the members of  ELCA. The learning curve might be steep so patience might be required over the next few weeks. Today we awoke to -17 and clear beautiful skies and elves have been busy decorating on the road!
